Tackling Stage Mode

so lets discuss how to beat stage mode! well so which character do you guys use?

I use sanji! he works perfect with dogs, just do D>A in crowd of dogs and you are good! Razz

how to beat enel, somebody tell me.. lost to him 3 times today again..

I use zoro, he has a good variety of moves and combos which allows him to deal with most situations. I beat enel mostly by comboing tatsumaki+otoro, if my healt is low then I keep my distance and use pound ho.

whats those moves again? i don't know by name Razz Razz and sanji's dash attack clears off the crowd very effectively!

The pound ho can easily clear crowds, however it does have high mp consumption

i defeted stage 1 with luffy he actually good against the dogs and especially against the marines with its storm attack (in air)

OOOOOOH! You using its excessive hit lag as an advantage.. I might try removing the hitlag from the game then Razz. I think the game will be better then, and there won't be a hit lag for demo 2.0.

well the game is hard and we sorta need things like that to get past well anyways to clear dogs I use stamp pistol and gatling I easily beat up 1 pacifista 2 arlongs and their muts but I cant clear after ussop cause Ive played the game only 5 times and that time the pacifista caught me off gaurd

Just managed to remove the hitlag, and the result:
AWESOME! The battles are suddenly fast paced and restless! I AM GONNA KEEP IT LIKE THAT! However, there will be no more lagging the game with downwards storm or kicking up unlimited enemies by sanji's D>A (as he doesn't stop at all now, he just hit the enemies without stopping XD). And don't worry guys, I reduced the number of Arlong's dogs subordinates to 2. He will have a decent AI now though Razz.

It was multiplayer and the dogs killed my little brother before he was able to hit anything and the dogs dont stop coming til u kill arlong and since it was multiplayer there were 15 dogs that kept respawning when u killed them 2 arlongs not just 1 and a pacifista wich trust me is harder than without multiplayer vs 1 arlong and 5 dogs so dont say that and I beat 2 pacifistas with double those marine subordinates by the way I use luffy and A man have u released the fixed version yet?

Nah not really. It's way more fun now. Action going non-stopping. I guess you will understand when you test it out by yourself =D. And unfortunately, some attacks vrest and falls needs to be reset. Not much of work really, but might need sometime. Plus, that will save me some work later when I convert all the LF2 work for the A-Engine (which I am still working on btw, but its not yet the time to show the progress on it Razz).

How do I beat Enel with Zoro? I defeated him once, but that was because my friend helped me. I'm trying to beat him alone this time... So can anyone help?

Pretty much what gerafi said. One of the most effective combos for Zoro is his DJ + D^A A + DVA(in air, to clear up those enemies who are already under you). It causes like 25% of damage. But be careful not to get hit by Enel's thunder then.

hmmph.. man.. I have suggestions, make stage 1 a bit easy.. stage 5 can be tough but not stage 1..
and I guess I shall try mastering zoro's combos then..

and guys if you know so many good combos why not create a thread? whats this section foranyways??

Well for me Zoro's the best Razz pound ho's really effective for the dogs n best for Marines with gun..
Pacifista's pain in hmmm... when it appears I go for him first. Razz It's way easier to play single player n if you're doing multiplayer(not with comp) then better play in a straight line it'll make it easier to kill em n support each other..
Enel uses transformation a lot so you have to hit a lot of time n not get hit(East to say Razz).. And I think somewhere in stage 4 took me the longest hmmm :iconseriousnod ... Yeah m back
A-man, where did u set the dog factory I can't find it hmmm coz they keeps coming while fighting against Arlong hmmm :iconseriousnod

Lol the harder he makes the game, the longer u take to win, and the longer u take to win, the more time he has to finish the next version so no one keeps buggin' him when the release will be Razz

The next update shall feature a no-hitlag environment; this means, SPAMMING moves won't be as effective any more as moves don't stuck at all now. All what you can do is depend on your skill and play fast-paced to keep your guard up. In the older version, the one you all now have, when you hit so many opponents say like with pistol. The move takes a while to hit them all leaving your back open for an attack, but that doesn't happen now. Pistol will just hit them at the same speed it would have moved at if you were hitting nothing. I know you will probably question the release time now. Adjusting the hit lag has malfunctioned a lot of moves, so I had to do some tweaks on them to make them work properly. The todo list:

Put in mind that the list used to be 5x the length as the one I screenshot-ed. And I am still working on it.

I can't beat this 1-9 lvl with anyone, btw, when u play with opened chars, its harder? Nice idea, but stupid, if we want to play in 4 players, so 2x Luffy 1 Zoro 1 Sanji? Stupid, just give one more character. And this system with infinite respawning of fking dawgs near boss, fck this sht. Gonna flood and buy stuff, cauze no intrest of spaming attack in not hardcore, but just unbalansed story mode.

LOOOL.. everyone seems to be angry with me now huh? Don't worry guys. The stage mode has been made somewhat easier, plus removing the hitlag did make the game more strategic as I've mentioned.
