Looks good Z but why does his legs suddenly switch at the end and air bazooka sounds good (just make sure you have enough key combination XD)

I don't think it does?  Its right leg back, left forward, settles in the same way too

Also we'll have plenty of combinations left. Bazooka is just Run S. So for air it'll just be dash S

Just coded it, and it looks really fabulous XD. I guess the reason for why you guys see that sudden foot slip is this frame (there isn't actually any slip):

I think it gives a strong feel of impact though.

Run attacks have to snap since they're coming out of a run cycle, so the frame won't always be in queue.  That may be why it looks off sometimes.  Also you don't want the start up to take too long otherwise the timing would too much for the attack to work. It should look fine in motion though

The idea is good but i think you missed something, zoro's swords need to represent the rhino's horns and i think the rhino needs to be a bit wider (this is just my opinion), Good Luck!

Range wise its just a small aoe effect around him. His twister attack with 3 swords has a huge range so I don't want them to be too similar.

Also for the lion's song I'm saving for later since I'm just focusing on 2 sword techs for now, so it'll probably be rashomon instead.

I heard you want to make clash effect...

So if Zoro clash with Law, when their sword meet, they should back a bit because Z's zoro and Law always take few step forward when they slash. Just a suggestion

It has to be a two sword style right? Or are his specials santoryu?  since rashomon launches enemies upward then maybe nigori-zake for when they fall, or ul-tora gari

Ah good point.  I'm basing it off his Kaku fight here, but swinging down with 2 swords might make it clearer


Don't think rashomon could clash, maybe just block though an attack if you hit it?  Gorilla clashing with giant pistol would be epic though

Also had an idea for Zoro.  Normal attack, no animal aura behind him.   Charge attacks, animal aura appears.  How does that sound?  

We're doing all 3 forms of Zoro, I'm just going to focus on the 2 sword attacks for now though.  

Special I think should key to the specific sword change moves so Zoro can access them easily even in other forms.  ex.

Special
^- Dragon Twister  *Santoryu shift
V- Ichi Ni Gorilla  *nitoryu shift (I know its classified as a santoryu, but he only uses 2 swords in the hit and might makes it more unique as a 2 nitoryu.)
>- Dragon Blaze *Ittoryu shift

Also maybe press defend when changing swords to cancel out the move so its just a sword change.  

And just S by itself would be 36/72/108 Phoenix Cannon depending on what sword form you're in.  


The A attacks would just depend on what form you're in too.  Current plans for nitoryu

^- Climbing Tower
V-Rhino Swirl
>-Bull Horns
V>-Rashomon

And for example in Santoryu it might change to

^-Crab Guillotine
>-Tiger Hunt
V-Yaksa Crow
V>- Oni Giri

Given the moves I think it works better as a style change rather than just being stronger versions of previous forms.  ex. Nitoryu attacks are quicker and more movement based but Santoryu attacks are slightly slower but deal more damage.  Otherwise people would just stick with Santoryu the entire time.

Since he doesn't have hardening haki (Just normal armour haki), I think he should have animal aura behind him. To make his attack stronger. I like how you make him unique by giving him different style according his number of sword XD

So that looks better Razz. About Zoro's moveset, I really think either Dragon Twister or Tiger Hunt should be keyed to DD. Luffy's got DD as fussen, and Law's got it as shambles. Zoro must have DD a good defensive/evasive move too, don't you think?

BTW: Santoryu Nigori Zaki was used against Oz to deflect his punch. (maybe that can be Zoro's DD?)

hm blocking in the colors and clean up. Do the biceps look weird? Kinda hard with his sleaves over them.

hm what would be the 3 and 2 sword exclusives though? Zoro puts his swords up to defend attack, I could animate it so he can attack out of it too, kinda like a counter attack? Or he could spin around with the sword. Might not make a tornado, but it would act like a defensive spin for all the sword forms.

And any thoughts on the animal aura being Zoro's charge attacks?

I think proportions wise, biceps still look weird. Probably because they start right after shoulders which isnt natural, try making it a bit small.

I though Zoro in 3 sword style have different appearance? He should have a bandanna and his shirt off while in 3 sword style. Like this:

They need to be interchangeable quickly. If zoro has to put on his bandanna/take off his shirt every time it'll take far too long to shift between sword forms. Maybe for hell moves or asura he'll do shirtless/bandanna.

ah yea I kinda think 1 sword might be the fastest in timing, but smallest in damage.  Just for precise attacks mostly I think.  

I think we'll just focus on 2 and 3 sword styles for now though, and do 1 sword last.

Happened to me as well, A. Allow me to be real for a second:
Anime is not a religion. To be really butthurt over something like this is ridiculous .It really shows how sensitive you are to change. I understand when people don't like an idea that is too far-fetched, but we as a community need to respect opinions regardless. Personally, this doesn't seem like a BAD idea though probably a little much to execute.  I may not know much about One Piece, but I do know that if this game really was to be as pure to such a standard Kizaru would be one of the most broken characters with unlimited MP and godlike stats just because he uses one of the Logia fruits. This is a game after all, and NO video game follows real-life logic. I'm not saying that we shouldn't follow the anime here; how else will this game be made? Creative twists create originality. Honestly, I loathe games like Ultimate Ninja Storm and Tenkaichi/Raging Blast for following the series too close to their anime without providing much new (that, and their gameplay is way too repetitive and unbalanced). Wanna hate me for saying that, whoever you are? Go ahead.
The point is that negative repping over expressing an opinion is stupid. We should be discussing openly, not bashing passively. You can PM me if you have a problem. I don't care.

I though that that suggestion was fine anyway, there's no need to get upset like that.
About Zoro, i think that his bicep is fine anyway. And he have tons of moves so just take it slowly but surely, Z.
