Sanji's face looks like the 2 years before. But I know it is very hard to do :/ but try adding a little more hair,the mustache and the beard is almost impossible to do because it would not make much difference is some 2 pixel more or less, but it's great all yours chars.

Hm, maybe for the other side of his face I can try to add the facial hair. This side his hair is covering so there isn't much I can do.


I made the hair 1 pixel longer and added some shadow under the mouth, should give it more of a TS feel?

As for the enemy character we were thinking of Monet actually. Just for the sake of making logia, + female character and we can implement Sanji's weakness too. Will do Vergo soon though.

@Ultimos: An LF2 to A-Engine converter has been planned. But with all seriousness, what's the use of converting into the A-Engine if we're not going to add any new features? Only thing I can think of would be for the shadows. The A-Engine is all about capabilities, its not like the older OPAE will change at all if it is merely converted. Merging the older with the new would be really... meh. The difference in quality is very big.

@Doflamingo: I know. I would need some grunts for that though; I mean we've got only Luffy at the moment, what kind of trailer would that be? Z is currently trying to do something with Zoro and Sanji, so we'll have to wait until he is motivated to get back working on the grunts again (no rushing). The guy is working like a machine now, so lets not be the nuclear control rods Razz.

@Dragon: Meticulous people are the best when it comes to criticism. Keep that XD.

just one leg for now, but playing around


As for hody personally I'm not a big fan of him, just kind of a weaker jimbei. Was hoping we start from punk hazard, then go back to fishman island later XD

Not really a big fan of any of the new fishman pirates really either, maybe make them as support attacks for hody, but for the fishman island level it just might be fishman grunts plus crazy hody as a boss. Maybe fight underwater to make it interesting?

The fishman island doesn't have any remarkable opponents so yeah, good point. And the underwater point is not very good idea for me because of the bubbles and stuffs. Maybe we could just let them fight on the Nova ship. 
And the sky walk looks awesome.

I agree. I remember back on OPGW forums when Z said he didn't wanna make Hody. Also the bubbles could actually limit game play.. so unless the SH's end up in an underwater battle again, I don't see a reason for em anymore. Luffy couldn't even move without help.

Thx guys, still only kicks with the one leg, I'll mirror the other leg when I'm done but hope you get the idea.  


So here are 2 with different timing, you can press J any time after the initial kick to keep going upwards pretty quickly, space it out more and you can hover in the air.  





Well for the bubble, what if you just float around the screen, but all your attacks/movements are the same?


Van der Decken has an interesting ability, maybe as a den den mushi summon?  I don't think he has enough to be a full character

Geppo is looking great. I don't like Hody Jones either, but his underwater battles against Zoro and Luffy were really cool and can be replicated in the game. Zoro can swim, so there shouldn't be a problem. We can just decrease the gravity and increase the water resistance a bit to give the water feel. For Luffy, we can have that Shark move you around? (probably controlled by an AU, and if there is a player 2, he should be able to control it). Decken's ability is really unique, and hence he shall be a support.

@vunguyen: He still needs to be polished. A lot.

(underwater fight) I still don't know what you're planning with the DF's users when the bubbles pops and left them in the water. They wouldn't be able to fight. And it would give advantage for the fisherman like Jinbe, Arlong, Hody because they're almost invincible in the water lol.

I'll reply on that.
For the Engine, the battle part and I think nearly everything that is required to code fully functional characters, backgrounds and to do stuff with them is really done.
The only part remaining (and being worked upon at the moment) is the menu part with options, settings, preferences and the character selection screen.

Just don't worry for Engine its very much done Very Happy but ofcourse there might be some things I missed Razz

i think for the water level just give them bubles xD and for the enemies u could put hody some times but getting stronger since he starts eating that op drug to supersaian their abilities xD
like once in the beginning but weaker then a little stronger and for last overpowerd :p with maybe spawning like 2 grunts when they all die untill u defeat hody ^.^

I think it's to embrace for landing like from jumping forward. The animation probably would look better if the gif followed an arch instead of going straight vertically.

Yeaaaa. I believe we can get a playable Sanji quite fast with that pace Razz. If just Lucci makes a come back; Z would be able to do him quite easily since he looks like Sanji (there is a chance he might appear btw. He might have joined these CP Aigos who appeared in the beginning of this arc).

Law needs to be polished, so not fully done yet.  He has most of his moves done from OPGW, but I'll need to polish them up too later on.
